Music Therapists

Music Therapists: Earn 20 Credit hours of continuing education for weekend trainings and 45 for week-long. Village Music Circles Courses are approved by the Certification Board for Music Therapists (CBMT) for Continuing Music Therapy Education credits. Credits awarded by CBMT are accepted by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). The Village Music Circles, provider number, P-062, maintains responsibility for program quality and adherence to CBMT policies and criteria. Extra Credit: 5 units for preprogram assignments

Social Workers

Social Workers: Earn 18 Credit hours of continuing education for weekend trainings and 48 for week-long. Extra Credit: 5 units for preprogram assignments.

Teachers

Teachers: You may register for professional development units through Brandman University. The units are graduate elective units designed for professional advancement and are not part of a degree program. You may elect to take one unit for a weekend course or three units for a week-long course. It is the responsibility of the participant to seek approval from the appropriate district or college officials before enrolling in this course to satisfy degree, state credential or local school district requirements. These are semester units.

LMFTs and LCSWs

LMFTs and LCSWs: Brandman University offers Continuing Education Units under the approval of the Board of Behavior Sciences. Provider #PCE1821. 3 semester units for the week-long and 1 unit for weekend trainings are available through Brandman University at $65/unit. Check for transferability.

Fees

VMC will add a $40 processing fee to all requests for CEUs. Fees for California MFTs and LCSWs are $2 per unit.
